Location: Spring City, PA (address and itinerary provided upon registration) Time: 9:30 — 2:00 A rare opportunity for the unheard price of $150! Shoot an unprecedented THREE buildings, including the rarely-available Admin building. From hospital beds to wheelchairs and personal effects, like clothing, toys and, of course, creepy dolls, there's ample subject to whet every photographer's appetite. PLUS ... the Admin building! New to the Crew, this home of Pennhurst's Haunt is filled with sets and props for their bone-chilling haunted house, including a morgue, and so much more! Pennhurst's Story: Tucked away in a wooded area of Spring City, 25 miles north-west of Philly, Pennhurst first opened its doors in 1908 as the “Eastern Pennsylvania State Institution for the Feeble-Minded and Epileptic,” later to be renamed Pennhurst State School and Hospital. Staff did their best to care for residents in the extremely overcrowded facility with meager resources. Lack of State funding lead to staff cuts and poor training, inevitably breeding rampant neglect and abuse. Pennhurst closed its doors in 1987 and has stood unused for over 30 years. PROPERTY NOTES:
